Process
Site & Context Analysis
We begin every project by listening to the land, its history, its ecological rhythms, and the people who live there. Through thorough site visits, data gathering, and stakeholder engagement, we build a deep understanding of physical conditions, cultural narratives, and existing infrastructure.
Conceptual Design & Visioning
With insights from our analysis, we develop bold, imaginative concepts that reveal the latent potential of each site. We explore multiple scenarios, testing spatial arrangements, circulation patterns, and programmatic ideas, always seeking to balance function, beauty, and ecological integrity.
Ecological Restoration & Planting Design
At the heart of our process is regenerative design. Before planting, we restore soil structure and hydrological function by treating the ground as a living system. Our planting palettes prioritize native species that support biodiversity, improve microclimates, and knit the new landscape into its surroundings.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Complex landscapes demand collective intelligence. We facilitate workshops, charrettes, and regular design reviews by working hand in hand with indigenous knowledge holders, community groups, contractors, and public agencies.
